Resolve or dismiss
- Resolve a finding once you have dealt with it.
- Dismiss one that does not apply, with one of five reasons and a note if you want one.
The summary line counts down as you go, and ends at “All findings handled”. Nothing you do here is sent to anyone.
Client questions
The Client questions tab lists every open finding’s question, grouped by document and numbered. Copy the list, download it as text, or print it. The questions carry real names, so read them before you send them.
Export
Export gives you the PDF report with your firm’s name and logo, the client questions as text, and the report as Markdown.
Keyboard
Press ? on a report for the list of shortcuts. J and K move between findings, O opens or folds one, E opens the evidence, R resolves, D dismisses, C copies the question, and N adds a note.
Explanation letters
Draft a letter writes a letter from the findings you choose. Under a chosen finding, Add what the client told you gives the letter their explanation in your words. Every fact the file does not settle is marked [TO CONFIRM], and the letter stays a draft until you have replaced each one. An owner or a licensee signs it off. Confirm every statement with your client before you use it.
