Privacy and your clients

What leaves your computer

Only encrypted files. Your browser seals each file before it is uploaded, and the review service opens them in memory for that review alone. They are deleted when the review ends and cannot be recovered.

What the AI sees

Before the AI step, names, passport numbers, and other identifiers are removed or replaced with placeholders. The AI reads the remaining text and never sees an image of a document. On any finding, open the evidence and choose What the AI saw to read exactly that text.

The AI analysis is processed in AWS data centres in the United States or Canada, and is not retained or used for training.

What we keep

Nothing about a client, unless you save a report, and then only in a form that your firm alone can read. The security page has the full list.

What to tell a client

You remain responsible for your client’s information and for your professional obligations. Check that your retainer agreement allows you to use a service like this one to review the file. If you would like wording to start from, write to us.

What Final-ink never does

It never contacts your client, never signs in to a government portal, and never submits anything.

Still stuck? Write to support, and never include a client's name, documents, or identifiers.
